Tools for Technologists

Welcome to the Lab.

The Noēsis Collaborative created The Lab as a home for product designers, technologists, and standards experts who want to help shape AI for our future. Our purpose and mission are oriented to serve the entire ecosystem by facilitating collaboration, convenings, and fundraising. As we continue to grow, you can return here to stay up-to-date with the latest workshops, product tools, and funding opportunities from Noēsis Lab and our partners.

Collaborate

The Problem

Shallow Humanity

Technology entrepreneurs face a hard journey. No amount of book learning will shield them from the slings and arrows of powerful forces. KPIs will incentivize engagement over enrichment. Self-interested investors and mentors with misaligned expectations will preach profit and neglect deeper insights. Customers will engage with products that have harmful consequences. Work environments will fracture their attention and ability to think deeply.

Companies will continue to race to the bottom if there are aren’t basic protections against human languishing.

Influence Product Design

Our Solution

We build and test tools, metrics, and AI prototypes that can plug directly into development workflows, guiding alignment from the inside out.

Frameworks for Flourishing

The Role of the Lab

Noēsis Labs works with technologists, researchers, and civil society to co-create tools, standards, metrics and KPIs that align technology development with human flourishing. It will also provide new models of investment, governance and access to new funding streams.
